“I was more famous than him,” Achraf Hakimi’s ex-wife Hiba Abouk responds to critics calling her a gold digger after divorce
The battle between the couple continues.

Hiba Abouk continues her media offensive against Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi. This is following a request for a divorce and after claiming 50% of the fortune earned by the Moroccan since they have been a couple.
Interviewed by journalist Maria Patino, the Spanish actress denounced the “macho and misogynistic” comments online. She also sent a strong message to her ex-husband, with whom she had lived together for several years. “It’s a macho and misogynistic world we live in. When we started dating, he had no income, and I was more famous than him,” she said, responding to those who attacked her on social networks.
Despite the criticism, Hiba Abouk says she is now focusing on herself and her family, hoping that justice will be on her side during the divorce process. “The positive thing is that the comments no longer have an impact on me. I want to be discreet so as not to affect our family in the future. I have faith in the justice system,” she said.
The case dates back to several weeks ago when the Paris Saint-Germain player was accused of sexual abuse by a 24-year-old woman in France. While alone at home, the alleged victim was allegedly assaulted, which the Moroccan player categorically denies, claiming was a trap.

Achraf Hakimi’s mother reacts to rumours

The player’s mother reacted to rumours that he had put his entire fortune in her name. Her response has exacerbated an already tricky situation. Rumours have been circulating that Abouk requested half of Hakimi’s assets and wealth during their divorce proceedings. However, she was informed that his mother owns everything and is even the beneficiary of his salary.
“If my son has taken steps to protect himself, that is his choice. Otherwise, he would not be able to get rid of this woman,” said Hakimi’s mother. She also said that she was unaware if her son’s fortune was transferred to her name. This dispels the widespread rumours that had taken over social media. Achraf Hakimi was charged with rape by French prosecutors on March 3, 2023. The investigation is ongoing.
