Ada Hegerberg flexes on League and Champions League  Double with Olympique Lyonnais Féminin

Inaugural Ballon dOr Feminin winner Ada Hegerberg enjoys off-season with Lyon Feminin teammates and silverware won around her arms.

Lyon finished the season as French League Champions for the twelfth time in their history after finishing runner-up for the first time since 2009-10 to PSG Feminin last season.

While they are always the heavy favourites to lift the French trophy, that wasn’t the case in the case in this season’s Champions League. Barcelona women’s team were a force to be reckoned with after winning every match of their league this season and being the holder of the Champions League prior to the 2022 finals.

However, Lyon Feminin dominated the Final against the Barcelona women’s team winning 3-1 with Ada Hegerberg being influential in their triumph.

Lyon Feminin are enjoying their off-season at Mykonos, Greece with the team having leisure and are in a party mood. While one such outing, Ballon dOr Feminin winner Ada Hegerberg posted her photo on social media flexing with the League and Champions League trophy. Other teammates also posted photos on Twitter as the whole team relished their company off the pitch as well.

Lyon secured a record-extending eighth Women’s Champions League title with a 3-1 victory over Barcelona on Saturday at the Allianz Stadium 

Defending champions Barca had only lost one competitive game all season but found themselves three goals down after first-half strikes from Amandine Henry, Ada Hegerberg and Catarina Macario. 

Blaugrana captain Alexia Putellas pulled one back just before the interval, but Lyon controlled the second half in Turin to ease to another European success.
