Manchester City fans love Ronnie Foden, Phil Foden‘s son. After clips emerged showcasing the young boy interacting with City players on the club’s training ground. Several fans have already wished for the young boy to dawn the colors of the Cityzens in the future and follow in his dad’s footsteps.
Known as ‘El Wey,’ Ronnie’s Instagram has quickly gained 3.9 million followers. His first post showed him with his Champions League medal, carried by his dad. On Twitter, fans have made videos of him with Manchester City players like Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker, making him a fan favorite. Ronnie attends City games like any other fan at the Etihad.
However, Ronnie may not be present for Man City’s latest game as the club travels to London to take on last season’s runner-up, Arsenal. A loss to City in their latest game against Wolves means that Arsenal are just one point behind City. A win would take the Gunners to the top of the table.
Meanwhile, Rodri will be unavailable for the Sky Blues as the Spanish midfielder was shown a direct red against Nottingham Forest due to violent conduct. Keeping him out for 3 games with the Arsenal game being the 2nd.
Before they travel to the Emirates, City takes on RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League as the Cityzens aim to defend their title. Striving to be the only English team to win back-to-back Champions League titles.
