“Ah, shit here we go again!”- Liverpool fans react to their Round of 16 match-up against Real Madrid

Real Madrid Vs Liverpool will be a treat to watch for the fans.

The UEFA Champions League draw has been done and fans are going mad with how the teams have lined up against each other. On one end, the people from Anfield are pumped up and feel that they will finally get their revenge against the Spanish giants, Real Madrid who have deprived The Kop of two UCL trophies and beaten them twice in the finals of 2018 and 2022.

Real Madrid has always had the better of Liverpool in the last couple of years, beating them in the 3-1 win at Kyiv in 2018 and then again in 2021 in the quarter-finals where Vinicius Jr. scored a brace. Last season, it was a repeat of the 2018 match-up as Vinicius again haunted the Reds by scoring the all-important goal and lifting their 14th UCL trophy.

Liverpool is going through a bad patch this season and will find it really hard to fight against a team who has hardly put a foot wrong in the last two seasons. Mohammed Salah will be desperate and would be hoping to deliver and win it for his fans this time after failing to deliver his promise in the last two meetings.
