AI predicts 2 most suitable candidates for replacing Barcelona star Sergio Busquets in 2023-24 season

Sergio Busquets had been a long server for Barcelona and is currently in the final year of his contract and the club is looking to sell him the next summer. It will be very tough for the club to find a proper replacement for the Spanish star who has been with the club for about 15 years now and has always lived up to the expectations.

Busquets is strongly linked with a move to MLS side Inter Miami but nothing has been official yet. The Artificial Intelligence platform Olocip has predicted West Ham midfielder Declan Rice and the Real Sociedad starman Martin Zubimendi as the alternatives for the long run. But the manager, Xavi has expressed his trust in Frenkie de Jong and is not currently looking for any other replacements.

It is no secret what a massive player Busquets has been for Barcelona in the last 14 years and there has never been a competition for him at the central defensive midfield position. Some pundits have also analyzed his game in the past in detail saying that he is the most underrated player in the history of Barcelona pointing to his off-the-ball movement as the golden aspect of his game.

Age doesn’t forgive anyone no matter how illustrious a career you have had or how brilliant you have been all through the years and the same goes for Sergio Busquets who is slowly coming to the end of his Barcelona career and its time for him to make way for some of the brightest talents in the club and also settle for a less competitive league.
