Bruno Fernandes talks about Garnacho’s bicycle kick against Everton
The 19-year-old Argentine scored one of the ‘goals of the year’ against Everton in the Premier League. His strike in the 3rd minute earned him a lot of praise from fans, pundits and players alike. Speaking on his goal, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes heaped praise on the youngster and drew similarities between him and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The United captain, expressing his amusement, said:
The goal was amazing, almost like something that was out of this World. He's probably watching too many clips of Ronaldo.
It is no secret that Garnacho is a devout Ronaldo fan, and has expressed it several times in the past. Garnacho celebrated his goal by hitting the ‘SIU’ in front of the Everton crowd.
Even though the youngster has tried to emulate Ronaldo’s celebrations and goals, Bruno Fernandes shared his take on the same.
There's still a long way for him to go for him to be like Ronaldo, but he's finding his feet.
He added more, saying that Garnacho has what it takes to be ‘special’ in the footballing world, but has to do more than that one goal.
