Chelsea starlet Armando Broja and British boxer Adam Azim share a connection that many may not have noticed. The Chelsea striker is on the rise at Chelsea while Azim is a promising 21-year-old boxer. In an interesting interview by media outlet Sky Sports, the duo shared stories from their childhood and how they were both “troublemakers” during their childhood and adolescence.
As the interviewer prodded more on the question, Armando Broja answered with a wry smile on his face:
We were both troublemakers back in school. We used to get into tension a lot.

Adam Azim also shared insights, claiming:
We used to get into trouble for messing around and sorts.
In response to the interviewer’s search for the “ringleader” or instigator in the fights, Azim promptly explained that they used to take turns, while Broja described it as almost like a shift, akin to a job.
The Chelsea star also said that he has pictures of the two in the same class, though he would have to “go to the archives” to find them. Azim added that he had a picture of the two wearing football jerseys.
While Broja is now a professional footballer, Azim claimed he was ‘just decent’ in school. The duo shared some laughs as they went down memory lane in this light-hearted interview.
Chelsea set to OFFLOAD Armando Broja to bring in star striker
Armando Broja made headlines during the game against Manchester City when the 22-year-old striker forced a penalty in the dying minutes of the game. A Chelsea product through and through, the player burst into the first team last season. Even though the player withstood the massive squad overhaul under Mauricio Pochettino, he is reportedly set to be offloaded by the cub.

Chelsea have shown great interest in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. The 24-year-old Nigerian striker caught the eye of several top clubs after his 35 G/A haul in the 2022/23 season. The club is convinced that Victor Osimhen is willing to join the club and is making efforts to raise funds for his signing. Armando Broja has struggled to gain regular playing time under Pochettino.
A move would mean regular playing time for the player and funds to secure Romelu Lukaku‘s potential replacement, Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian is under contract till 2025 and is yet to sign an extension. Romelu Lukaku is on loan at AS Roma and Jose Mourinho will likely sign the Belgian on a permanent deal. Armando Broja has only managed 5 appearances this season in all competitions for Pochettino’s side. Osimhen however, has scored 6 goals for Napoli this season.
