According to recent reports, Manchester City will pay a bonus amount of €15 million for their forward Jack Grealish to Aston Villa if they win the Premier League title. Liverpool would want Aston Villa to stop Manchester City’s run by beating them on Sunday as Klopp’s side-eye to win the league title which comes on the last day of the league.
Many speculations were made that Steven Gerrad might favor his former club to win the league but the amount they will receive from Pep’s side if they win the league will be profitable for the club.
Jurgen Klopp’s team is still chasing an incredible quadruple, having won both domestic cup competitions and facing Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
Liverpool will look to end their season with a win over Wolves but that won’t be a fruitful result if Pep’s side wins their last game which means the title will stay at Manchester City’s locker room. Klopp believes Villa, who play relegation-threatened Burnley on Thursday, will have enough motivation to pull off a surprise victory at the Etihad Stadium, rather than convincing Villa coach Steven Gerrard.
