As the soft deadline for the proposals of the club’s takeover is close, Manchester United co-chairmen Avram and Joel Glazer are planning to buy out their four siblings. Their siblings Bryan, Edward, Darcie and Kevin Glazer are part of the Manchester United board. While prospective investors are preparing to submit their proposals for buying the club. The club has set a soft deadline of February 17 for interested parties to formally propose their strategy.
Both Avram and Joel Glazer are reluctant to sell the club despite the protests of fans against their ownership. The Glazers announced that they had started a process “to explore strategic alternatives to enhance the club’s growth” three months ago. Avram Glazer was reportedly in Dubai last week to sell a minority stake to Qatar-based investors.
Glazer also attended the International League T20 final on Sunday, in which his team, the Desert Vipers were playing Gulf Giants. The Desert Vipers lost the final in the Gulf state. Meanwhile, Manchester United won their fifth game in six matches on Sunday against Leeds, as Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho scored in a 2-0 victory.

An Ineos spokesman also stated that Sir Ratcliffe was keen on buying Manchester United. Inside sources from the club claimed that it was just a ‘speculation,’ However, the spokesman stated otherwise. “If the club are for sale, Jim is definitely a potential buyer,” he said. Amidst United’s takeover speculations and rumors, they play Leicester City on February 19th in the Premier League.
