Barcelona looking to sell Ferran Torres, Raphinha and Ansu Fati in the summer transfer window

FC Barcelona may need to make some necessary sellings in the upcoming Summer transfer window. The table toppers are reportedly in talks with the agents of Raphina, Ferran Torres, and Ansu Fati. The Xavi-led side looks to sell the three players amidst the financial burden the club is facing for the last few years.

Ansu Fati has scored a total of seven goals in all competitions and also has just four assists in 40 matches. The player recently came to the limelight after his father Bori Fati made statements regarding his position and playing timing in the club.

The 20-year-old forward, although not much in form recently for Xavi’s team, has been scouted by Manchester United. Fati has a contract till 2027 with the club. Barcelona has set an asking price of £60m for the Spaniard.

Next in line is the former Man City forward Ferran Torres. Torres arrived in Barcelona in January 2022. The club might ask for a fee of £50m. Atletico Madrid and Inter are reportedly interested in the player.

Brazilian forward and Former Leeds United player Raphina is also on the list of players that might be shown the door. Arriving in 2022, the wideman has been involved in some heated situations in the last few months. Many Premier League clubs Chelsea was also interested in the player, while the player moved to Barcelona. The club might be interested in the player with a transfer fee of £80m.

The clubs are facing FFP issues and need to raise a lot of money in order to balance the books to bring Lionel Messi back. Barcelona head coach Xavi has put winning La Liga as their primary target for this season although a lack of European success will be a matter of frustration for the world cup winner.

For now, the table toppers are leading the table with 12 point difference with Real Madrid with one match played less than them. The Catalonian side would now face Girona today at Camp Nou. It is possible that Barcelona may get a 15-point difference from Real Madrid and lead the table.
