Franck Kessie’s agency, Ambitions Group Sports Management has hit out at Spanish journalist Gerard Romero. The agency took to Instagram to leave their comments on the recent rumors by Gerard Romero. Romero published news about transfer for Franck Kessie away from Barcelona, which are ‘misleading’ as per his agency.

“Dear Gerard Romero. We have remarked for the umpteenth time that you have published unfounded news concerning one of our clients (Franck Kessie). Despite ourselves, we inform those who follow us and above all those who follow you that you have never once given exact information regarding Kessie,” said the agency via an Instagram post.

However, a variety of reports suggest that Franck Kessie has been unsettled at Barcelona. The club indeed is looking to ship out the player on a permanent transfer, to help settle the club’s wage bill. Kessie has garnered interest from Saudi Arabia as well as he looks to call it a time at Camp Nou.

Barcelona seal Vitor Roque deal

Vitor Roque will join Barcelona after the Catalans have struck an agreement with Athletico Paranaense and confirmed all terms and documentation. Last month, a deal in principle was completed for the Brazilian, with Barça agreeing to pay €35 million plus an additional €10 million in add-ons. Bringing the operation’s overall cost to €45 million.

It was never difficult to get the personal terms agreed with the 18-year-old striker. The athlete had always wanted to settle in Catalonia and join the Blaugrana. As a result, it is assumed that Roque will sign a contract that will last until 2029 and include a €1 billion release clause.

Roque’s signing presents a significant financial issue for the club, as the club needs to reinforce other positions as well. In light of this, it will be quite difficult to register the 18-year-old without significant sales. Roque will spend the next six months on loan at Athletico Paranaense, according to the current arrangement, before joining Barcelona in January 2024.
