Barcelona’s Ferran Torres mocks teammate Jules Kounde, calls him the ‘worst dressed player’

In a recent interview, Ferran Torres has joked about teammate Jules Kounde. The Barcelona forward was asked a host of questions including sensational return for Lionel Messi, and revealed the “little sod” of the dressing room. The former Manchester City man seems to have grown close with the squad within a little over a year after signing for the club.

When asked who the worst dressed player was in the team, Ferran replied,“Jules, no doubt.” The Spaniard also revealed who was the most deceptive player at first sight, and he named Eric Garcia. “He looks as if he is the son-in-law that every father-in-law wants for his daughter. But be careful, because he kills them with silence.”

The Spanish international also hinted at a possible return for Club Legend Lionel Messi. Ferran joked that some of the dressing room were already ‘doing the work’ to convince him to return, referring to Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets’ dinner with Messi recently.

Barcelona looking to offload Ferran Torres for Belgian winger

FC Barcelona are reportedly looking to exchange Ferran Torres for Yannick Carrasco. The Catalan club are admirers of the Belgian winger and are trying to convince the Madrid club to work out an exchange deal between the two forwards.

Apparently, the Blaugrana had hoped that the transfer of Memphis Depay to Atletico Madrid would strengthen the clubs’ relationship. Barcelona believed that the sale of the Dutchman would mean the Madrid club would agree to a lower offer for the Belgian.

However, the Rojiblancos are sticking to their price tag. The club also seem hesitant in entertaining offers for a swap deal between the two players. The asking price is €19million and the Madrid club are unwilling to budge from their valuation of the Belgian forward.

Carrasco is entering the final year of his contract. In contrast, Torres’ contract is not due to run out until 2027. It is baffling why Barcelona are considering selling Ferran Torres, despite his rough patch of form. The Spaniard played with Pep Guardiola in Manchester City and seems a perfect fit for Xavi’s style of play.
