Barcelona star Jules Kounde praised Travis Scott’s latest album, Utopia, on Wednesday. In one of his Instagram stories, Kounde posted a picture of him while praising the album. Interestingly, the album features a Lionel Messi reference in one of the songs.
“On repeat” and “Utopia” were in the captions of the photo posted by Kounde. He was seen with his airpods in his ears in this photo. Lionel Messi’s reference is seen in the song “Meltdown” from the album. The album has been very popular worldwide and now even Jules Kounde has made his appreciation for Travis Scott known by praising the album.
Jules Kounde is also a huge fan of Messi. In his previous interviews, Kounde has expressed his desire to play with Lionel Messi someday. He also called Messi the Greatest of All Time. Kounde also revealed he watched Lionel Messi while growing up and that Lionel Messi is his idol.
Jules Kounde thus showed his love for the Rapper and his idol, Messi, through his Instagram. The defender is currently in pre-season training with Barcelona. He will be playing for Xavi’s team this season despite rumors of him leaving Barca. He shall be looking to improve his performance from last season and help Barca attain more glory this season.

Jules Kounde denies rumors of him leaving Barcelona
Jules Kounde was thought out to be unhappy at Barcelona, The defender was playing in an unfamiliar position of right back at the club. This positional change was uncomfortable for the player, and thus he was thought to leave the club.
However, Kounde has now clarified he is staying in Barcelona. Kounde used Twitter to communicate the same. “To make it clear: at no time did I ask to leave, so I’m not going anywhere.“- were his words via a tweet. Kounde thus quashed rumors of him handing in a transfer request.
Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez confirmed Kounde’s stay at the club. He said that the defender was “happy” at the club and that he was “not thinking about leaving.” Kounde now looks to help Barcelona win titles next season. His position for the time being looks to be set as a Right Back for Barcelona though.
