Robert Lewandowski and Kylian Mbappe hit the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival

Robert Lewandowski and Kylian Mbappé pulled up to the Cannes film festival. Football superstars making appearances at award shows and film festivals is not a new thing. Cristiano Ronaldo was often seen on red carpets during his infamous relationship with Russian model Irina Shayk before they split in 2015.

Kylian Mbappe who recently signed a contract extension with PSG and Bayern Munich hitman Robert Lewandowski made their acquaintances at Cannes Film Festival. Little is known about what or which movie premier did they came for but certainly enjoyed their time at the Cinéma de la Plage.

Robert Lewandowski was accompanied by his adorable wife Anna Lewandowska. Lewandowski wore an all-black suit while Anna wore an orange gown which made the couple charming to the eye. As for Kylian Mbappe, he made his short trip to Cannes from the french capital alone and was seen capturing glimpses with other celebrities out there.

Robert Lewandowski might be heading to Spanish giants Barcelona

Lewandowski finished as the Bundesliga’s leading scorer for a seventh season, in the league alone, he managed 35 goals, and that form has seen him strongly linked with LaLiga giants Barcelona.

It is reported that a fee in the range of €35-€40 million will be enough to get the services of the 33-year-old. Barca has financial issues to iron out before any deal could go ahead, as head coach Xavi pointed out in one of his press conferences.

He has not spoken directly about Lewandowski to confirm Barca’s interest, but Xavi could use a prolific goalscorer if his team are to challenge Madrid for domestic silverware next season.
