Ronaldo is nearly sure to exit Old Trafford in January after an intense interview with Piers Morgan, which will be aired in full on Wednesday and Thursday nights. The 90 mins interview includes segments wherein he has publicly critiqued Manchester United’s owners, coach, and system.
The 37-year-old is yet again getting associated with teams like Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Sporting. Bayern was another team that looked into Ronaldo’s position as he incensed for a transfer away from Old Trafford.
The five time Ballon D’or winner and his agent have already discussed a move with German champions Bayern Munich. Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Mendes met with Bayern Munich for transfer discussions just days before his shocking interview per reports.
The meeting took place in England and was the result of earlier conversations that took place in the summer when Ronaldo was contemplating exiting Manchester United per reports. However, the Bavarian leaders are not considering the Portuguese.
Bayern is not interested in signing Ronaldo but will look to acquire a striker in the summer rather than in January. Although Ronaldo is presently representing Portugal at the World Cup, potential replacements are being discussed by his officials, who are led by the famed Jorge Mendes.
