Argentine star Enzo Fernandes is reportedly set to make a deadline-day move to the Premier League. According to multiple reports, Fernandez wants to leave Portugal to sign for Chelsea after the London club showed interest in the World Cup winner. The 22-year-old midfielder will undergo medical procedures in Portugal before moving to Chelsea.

Although nothing has been made official between the two clubs, the Premier League giants are expecting Benfica to release the player today itself. Enzo Fernandez must be preparing for his medical in Lisbon, where officials from Chelsea still negotiate a deal for the Argentine. Chelsea ended discussions with the midfielder earlier this month due to monetary issues. Though it looks like they are ready to bring the midfielder to London at all costs.

According to SkySports, the deal is on the verge of completion as members from both clubs are working on the agreement as time passes by. The Premier League club has agreed to pay a £105 million release clause for the 22-year-old.
