Brazil Football President, Santos, and Flamengo express solidarity with Vinicius Jr. after racial abuse episode, calls him Real Madrid’s ‘best player’

Recently Valencia defeated Real Madrid by one goal to nil this Sunday. Diego Lopez was the player who scored the goal in the 33rd minute and led his team to victory. But the highlight of the match was Valencia’s fans’ racial chants at Vinicius Jr and against this action many clubs and people have condemned the fans, referee, and the footballing authorities.
Racism is not new to football many players have been targeted with racist comments. And this time, Vinicius Jr had to undergo the pain of racial comments. Although this wasn’t the first time the young Brazilian was teased by his color. Vini Jr has undergone several racial comments but this one against Valencia reached the limit.
This time the fans of the opponent team targeted the young Brazilian and chanted racial comments at the player. In the 73rd minute, the fans started to shout ‘Monkey, monkey’ to Vinicius Jr. Many famous clubs and players have taken their stand with the player against racism.

Renowned clubs and players have come in support of Vinicius Jr. condemning Valencia’s fans
Luiz Lula da Silva the President of Brazil after this incident tweeted, “I want to show solidarity with Vinicius, a young man who is Real Madrid’s best player, who suffers repeated attacks. I hope FIFA takes action to prevent racism from taking over football.”
Flamengo the former club of Vinicius Jr also released a report after the racial comment to stand with his former player. Flamengo reported, “The scenes shock and sadden. It is even more shocking to know that this is not the first time and that so little has been done to combat and prevent this from happening again.”
The club in support of the player stated, “We are always with you. Millions of red-blacks, millions of Brazilians, millions of people who are outraged when someone is a victim of violence.” On the other side, Santos FC has declined all the racial comments that Vini Jr had faced which have already occurred various times in his career.
Everybody is with the player after such an incident. Vini Jr is getting support from his teammates, manager, and his fans. The player has received many supportive messages and comments on Instagram. The case has now reached La Liga President Javier Tebas, who is expected to start an investigation to know the truth.
