Chelsea FC have spent without any apparent ‘limits’ over the course of the summer transfer window. New owner Todd Boehly has invested heavily into the club, especially in the form of squad reinforcements with numerous signings and departures. Amidst the transfer ruckus, a financial expert who goes by the name Swiss Ramble on X predicts that the English club could face serious repercussions in the future for their behavior in the transfer market.

SwissRamble predicts that due to FFP (Financial Fair Play) breaches, the club will be punished in the form of a point deduction paired with a transfer ban next season. According to him, Chelsea might have breached the FFP regulations regarding to losses and may face punishments. However, this is only speculative and may also be part of Chelsea’s transfer strategy, with the club accepting to sit out the following summer transfer window.

UEFA has restricted clubs to offering a maximum of 5-year contracts. However, since Chelsea are not participating in UEFA competitions this year, the club continues to exploit this loophole. Even though the window is still open and there is a possibility of departures, the millions of loss in breach is not likely to be recovered, as per Swiss Ramble.

After failing to secure the 3 points in his opening two games, Chelsea Gaffer Mauricio Pochettino has finally driven Chelsea to winning ways. The home side prevailed 3-0 against Luton Town in a clash that saw Raheem Sterling shine like his usual self. The Englishman netted twice while Nicolas Jackson scored his first goal for the Blues.

After failing to win the first 2 games against Liverpool and West Ham, this win is a breath of fresh air for the Blues. But, some fans still remain skeptical as they say that this win was nothing as it was against a weaker Luton side. The win against Luton is Chelsea’s first home win since March. Chelsea face AFC Wimbledon next in the second round of the EFL Cup.
