Hakim Ziyech signed for Chelsea back in 2020 as one of the most creative wingers in Europe from Ajax for a fee of €40 million. Most expected the Moroccan to flourish at Stamford Bridge but things didn’t go as planned.

Injuries kept Hakim Ziyech on the sidelines for most of his first season at the club. Although he did go on to score important goals for them in the FA Cup and Champions League, winning the former too. However, with Thomas Tuchel ready to bring in fresh blood, Ziyech could be offloaded the make room.

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea will not let Hakim Ziyech leave on a cut-price deal as they need to raise funds for new transfers. Hence, AC Milan will be open to a loan deal with an option buy that could help Chelsea re-coup some money.

AC Milan is one of the biggest admirers of Hakim Ziyech and as reported is desperate to have the 29-year-old in their ranks. The Moroccan could follow in the footsteps of teammate Romelu Lukaku to Italy in search of regular game time.

Last season, Hakim Ziyech started just 13 of the 44 games he featured in him. Being forced to be a bench warmer for most of the season. Hence, a move away is perfect for all parties and it is reported that the player will have no trouble agreeing to personal terms with AC Milan.
