Chelsea seriously considering bringing Raheem Sterling to Stamford Bridge as Romelu Lukaku pushes for exit: Reports

Raheem Sterling
According to ODDSbible, the odds of Raheem Sterling joining Chelsea from Manchester City is 5/4 this summer. Chelsea is on the lookout for a goalscoring winger and Raheem Sterling ticks all the boxes.
The no. 9 curse at Stamford Bridge continues even after Romelu Lukaku’s sensational return to Chelsea for a hefty fee of €115 million. The Belgian found himself warming the bench for most of the season and Tuchel believes that Chelsea needs a more dynamic forward rather than a traditional No. 9.

Can Raheem Sterling solve the goal-scoring problem at Chelsea?

The simple answer is Yes. The 27-year old Englishman is the perfect modern winger with the ability to cut in and find spaces to score goals for his team. Pep Guardiola has managed to transform Sterling into a lethal monster upfront. 131 goals and 95 assists in 339 games are enough to prove the former Liverpool player’s worth.
Having already signed Erling Haaland and having many options up front, Raheem Sterling has seen his position drop at City. Hence, moving away from the Ethiad will not be surprising for the winger.
Real Madrid will also be considering Raheem Sterling as an option this summer after Kylian Mbappe decided to sub a move to the Galacticos to stay at PSG. Hence, if Raheem does submit a transfer request, he will have top clubs all over Europe scrambling for his services.
