Jose Mourinho rejects PSG, forcing the French club to look elsewhere

Jose Mourinho was apparently PSG’s first choice to take over the reins from Pichettino. However, the Portuguese rejected the opportunity to work with possible the best squad in the world to focus on his project at AS Roma.

Jose Mourinho recently helped AS Roma end a 14-year trophy drought. Winning the first-ever UEFA Conference League. Moreover, he has been backed by Roma to sign the players he feels will be vital as he sets his eyes on the Scudetto.

As a result, PSG has turned to Nice’s Christopher Galtier as their next choice. Galtier won the Ligue 1 last year with Lille. He also helped OGC Nice to a 5th place finish this season. Galtier has coached many Ligue 1 teams since 2007 and the 55-year-old will definitely be templed to work at PSG soon.
