Europe or Saudi? Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku finally gives clarity on future amidst multimillion dollar contract offer

Romelu Lukaku is set to continue his European adventure. The striker has decided to stay in Europe and play amongst the top leagues, instead of migrating to Saudi Arabia. The Belgian, who is on loan at Inter Milan from Chelsea would like to stay at Inter.
The Belgian striker has appreciated the interest from Saudi Arabia but has politely informed them that he seeks to continue in Europe preferably at Inter. The Italian club is yet to decide on his future, as his parent club is waiting for further information from Inter. Negotiation links between the clubs for the striker are open. Romelu Lukaku finds Inter to be a conducive environment.
Lukaku’s viewpoint is consistent with past statements regarding his satisfaction at Internazionale. He has prospered since joining the club, cementing himself as one of Europe’s most prolific attackers. Internazionale’s prosperity, including their recent Serie A title, has been aided by Lukaku’s outstanding performances.
Inter Milan fans who have grown fond of Lukaku and will be happy by his news of staying at Inter. The club values his contributions to the team’s success and thus could secure a deal with Chelsea shortly. Chelsea would be using Lukaku as a piece in order to move for Inter’s players, with them needing a goalkeeper and midfielder.

Chelsea enquire about Nicolo Barella
Chelsea have reportedly enquired for the highly rated young Italian midfielder, Nicolo Barella from Inter. According to reports, Chelsea might use Romelu Lukaku as a bargaining piece in order to get the midfielder. Chelsea are in need of a midfielder after losing out on N’golo Kante to AL-Ittihad.
Inter are also looking to sign Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea, while Chelsea is looking to sign Inter’s goalkeeper Andre Onana. Potential swap deals and scenarios are created between Inter and Chelsea regarding all these players. Inter and Chelsea will complete business soon and reports suggest Chelsea are very keen to get Nicolo Barella.
However Chelsea face competition from Newcastle United for the signature of the player. Eddie Howe is a big fan of the player and aims to bring him to his side. Newcastle United have the added advantage of playing in the Champions League next year. Their Saudi-born owners also back them and have funds to move the player. Chelsea themselves have significant pull despite not playing in Europe and are having a rebuild in their squad and thus are keen to bolster their ranks with midfielder.
