Cricket legend and Blues fan Kevin Pieterson wants Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo move to Chelsea as his birthday present
Kevin Pietersen is celebrating his 42nd birthday and has cheekily requested that Chelsea sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United as a birthday present. Pietersen is a Chelsea fan who is friends with club legends Frank Lampard, John Terry, and Ashley Cole. During his career, the former England captain used the club’s facilities while recovering from an Achilles injury.
And, following reports that new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly met with Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes, Pietersen wants the Blues to go out and sign him this summer. The pair discussed Ronaldo’s future and a possible move to Stamford Bridge, according to The Athletic.
Pietersen took to Twitter to urge Chelsea to complete the deal, writing “All I want for my birthday is @Cristiano signing for @ChelseaFC.” United, on the other hand, is keen to keep Ronaldo at Old Trafford, stressing that “Cristiano is not for sale. We hope and expect him to be with us next season.”
Pietersen is also a huge fan of Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo. As a result, Pietersen, like many Chelsea fans, wishes to see Ronaldo at Stamford Bridge. Pietersen’s tweet quickly went viral, garnering hundreds of comments.

“I wish him the best. We are happy and excited, not only as players but the supporters as well. I wish him the best and let’s believe that, next year, we are going to win trophies.” He continued, “I know he did a fantastic job for Ajax and that he’s an experienced coach but we need to give him time. Things need to change the way he wants.”
