Cristiano Jr. is considered by many to be the future and promise of Portuguese football. However, Ronaldo’s eldest child is set to make a tough decision. As per reports, the 13-year-old has the chance to represent three different nations. The natural assumption is that the player will don the jersey for Portugal. However, both the USA and Spain are also on the table.
Cristiano Jr. is currently enrolled in the Mahd Academy in Saudi Arabia. After stints at Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United Academy, Cristiano Jr. has made Saudi his latest destination. Following in the footsteps of his father, the 13-year-old shows huge promise. As for National Teams Cristiano Jr. is directly eligible to play for the Portuguese National Team. This is because his father was born in the country. While Spain is also an option.
FIFA rules enable a player who has lived in a country for more than 3 years before the age of 10 to play for the NT. He is also eligible to play for the USMNT. This is by virtue that the USA is his birthplace. The player was born in San Diego California. any expect Cristiano Jr. to follow in his father’s footsteps.
