Portugal were leading 1-0 at half-time when Bruno Fernandes was seen giving his teammates a pep-talk. The players huddled around in a circle before going out onto the pitch.

The video shows Bruno Fernandes in conversation with goalkeeper Diogo Costa, appearing to give directives to the player. Standing beside the duo are Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester City star Bernardo Silva. The two appear to look at each other, as if in response to what was said by Bruno. 38-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo made the move to the Saudi Pro League towards the end of 2022. The Portuguese superstar initiated a mass exodus of players from the European top 5 leagues, while at the same time, earning next to $214.04 million per year for his services. Unsurprisingly, Brazil and Al-Hilal star Neymar Jr. took the first spot, valued at £43 million. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Ruben Neves complete the top 3, making it an Al-Hilal exclusive.

Despite his monumental salary and brand value, the 38-year-old Portuguese is valued at a meager £11.49 million.
