“Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t care about Manchester United”- Garry Agbonlahor amidst transfer rumours

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has come under a lot of criticism after he revealed that he wants to leave Manchester United. The Portuguese striker came to Old Trafford last season citing that he wanted to get the club back to his old glory.

However, after a disappointing season where Cristiano Ronaldo was the only stand-out performer, the 37-year-old now wishes to leave saying that he doesn’t see the ambition at the club due to their lack of transfer activity and competitiveness to challenge for trophies.

Speaking about the player, Garry Agbonlahor said to Talksport, “The biggest disappointment if I was a #MUFC fan is that Ronaldo doesn’t care! He doesn’t care about Man Utd, he cares about Ronaldo. He wants #UCL! It’s the Ronaldo show!”

Cristiano Ronaldo misses 3rd straight day of pre-season due to a family emergency

Since Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest claims about leaving the club, the former Real Madrid player has been training alone in Portugal. He missed the first day of pre-season on Monday saying that he has some personal family emergency, a reason later accepted by the club.

However, Ronaldo has now missed 3 straight days of pre-season training with the club and there are doubts emerging if he would fly with the club on their pre-season tour to Australia and Thailand.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes has been working tirelessly over the last few weeks to find a new club for Cristiano Ronaldo. The player has been offered to Bayern Munich and Chelsea so far with the Blues showing some interest in the forward.
