Netizens cannot stop laughing after former Pakistani cricketer and Pakistan cricket Chairman Ramiz Raja‘s hilarious ‘fail’. The former cricketer made headlines while talking about global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his ‘diet’. While the player has an extremely systematic and personalized diet, Ramiz Raja opined that Ronaldo’s diet is designed by ‘NASA scientists’.
The internet has been laughing out loud at this apparent ‘fail’ by the former Pakistani Cricket Board Chairman. The 61-year-old was on a Cricket World Cup talk show when he made the claim. Following the incident, Ramiz Raja has received backlash as well as numerous trolls on social media. Netizens have slammed the former cricketer for making false claims about such a renowned personality, such as Cristiano Ronaldo.
A deeper look at the player’s diet reveals the degree of reality in Raja’s claim. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration or NASA does not, in fact, prepare the player’s diet.
Ronaldo follows a strict diet, involving lean meats, and vegetables, and makes sure to avoid processed food and sugar. His diet is a proper mix of essential nutrition and calorie intake as required for a professional footballer.
Cristiano Ronaldo: A closer look at the 38-year-old’s fitness
Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo has been at the top of his game for the greater part of two decades. Following the outlandish claim that Cristiano Ronaldo’s diet is prepared by NASA scientists, Netizens have sought clarity on the same. Even though there is significant grounding in science, the player’s diet does not come from NASA. Rather it is owed to his fitness plan, diet, and nutrition.
The player earlier explained that he starts every session with a light warm-up to “avoid injuries”. Notably, the player has managed to traverse the greater part of his career without any significant injuries. Cristiano is also known for spending a lot of his time at the gym. He splits his training between cardiovascular exercises and lifting weights. Running, rowing and jumping come under the former.
Ronaldo said that on the pitch, he focuses more on match situations, such as sprints and endurance workouts. He added that one must also try to incorporate abdominal workouts into the exercise plan. His strict workout plan, combined with a protein-rich, wholegrain carb diet ensures that he stays a ‘step above the rest’, as has been the case in recent years, even at the age of 38.
