Global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is no stranger to animated reactions and outbursts during the game. Tuesday’s clash against Shabab Al-Ahli was no different as the Portuguese was seen fuming against officials at the halftime whistle. Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr locked horns with Al-Ahil in the playoffs of the AFC Champions League, the premier club competition in Asia. Cristiano failed to register a goal as his team edged the time through 3 very late goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo was furious following three penalty calls dismissed by the referee. His distaste at the referee’s decision was visible and ended up telling the referee to “f*ck off” before heading down the tunnel. He was also spotted pushing a person to the side on his way to the tunnel. Netizens have mixed reactions to the incident, with fans defending the player for his frustration against the ‘unjustly’ denied penalties while others called the player ‘entitled’ and ‘arrogant’ as is the narrative against the superstar.
