Cristiano Ronaldo is a free agent following his recent public split from Manchester United, which resulted from the controversial interview with Piers Morgan. He is yet to sign for a new team, and the Portuguese star has not yet decided on a new team and is currently focused on setting new records in international football with Portugal in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Major European football clubs have made it clear that they have no intention of bringing back Cristiano Ronaldo, the record scorer for Real Madrid. This includes Sporting Lisbon and Bayern Munich, who have both firmly shut down any suggestion of signing the Portuguese star. A settlement concerning his exit from Old Trafford has caused him to give up the rest of his wages that were due to him until the summer of 2023.

He wants them to honor an agreement they reportedly came to during the Covid pandemic but chose to keep hidden from the public. Neither was the deal reported in the stock market or the club’s financial reports.

Surprisingly, 70% of respondents did not want the Portugal great to be part of the initial squad due to his recent lackluster performance. The paper also published some of the comments, with one fan saying, “This is no longer CR7; it’s CR37”. When it comes to helping others cut, Messi is also ahead. He has assisted 348 goals compared to Ronaldinho’s 216.
Portugal claimed the top spot in Group H of the World Cup but could not secure a clean sweep of victories. In their final match of the group stage, they were defeated by South Korea. On December 6, Portugal is expected to come out on top against Switzerland, the runners-up of Group G behind Brazil.
