Former Manchester United masseur, Rod Thornley, claims Cristiano Ronaldo sold his Porsche at half price to him, in exchange for a phone number. Thornley claims that he assisted Ronaldo in getting acquainted with two women and charging a fee for the second instance.

In the Under the Cosh podcast, Thornley revealed that Ronaldo asked him for a woman’s number whom he saw on television. It was Dannii Minogue, featuring on X-Factor. Thornley was amazed at the request but stated, “I am a man of many means and within like four or five days, I’ve got Dannii Minogue’s number on my phone. So I hand it to him.” Ronaldo and Minogue went on a couple of dates after that, but it did not work out for them, and they eventually broke it off.

According to Thornley, that was not the end of their partnership. The former Manchester United masseur reported that Ronaldo liked Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls during a performance. The Portuguese then requested the Englishman to repeat his magic once again.

This time, Thornley negotiated a deal with the Portuguese. The Englishman claims that he was able to convince the Portuguese to sell his Porsche to him for half price. Thornley said that Ronaldo requested Kimberly Wyatt’s phone number while he was on the verge of a move to Real Madrid.

When Thornley asked Ronaldo what he would offer in return, the Al-Nassr forward replied, “You like my car? When I go to Real Madrid, I’ll sell it to you for half price.” The Englishman accepted the offer and procured the phone number within 10 minutes. Thornley then sold the £60,000 car that he received for £30,000 for a profit.

That concluded the two former Manchester United employees’ partnership. Ronaldo did not have a serious relationship with either of the two women. The The Portuguese has since dated models Irina Shayk and Georgina Rodriguez, the latter of whom is still with him to this date, and the two share five children together.

The Five-Time Champions League winner failed to have an impact on the game. His counterpart, Odion Ighalo managed to convert both his penalties and celebrated by scorning the Portuguese as well. The Nigerian performed the iconic Lionel Messi celebration, by pointing to the sky, a gesture that frustrated Ronaldo.

Al Nassr recently sacked their head coach, Rudi Garcia, and appointed Dinko Jeličić to take over for the remainder of the campaign. However, the Croat failed to have a “new manager bounce” and Faris Najd dropped points again. Ronaldo and his side will need a monumental effort if they wish to launch a late title charge in the Saudi Pro League.
