Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, is reportedly eager to leave Saudi Arabia. According to reports, she prefers to move back to Spain, where the two lived for many years.
Cristiano Ronaldo has only been living in Saudi Arabia for three months after signing a 175 million pound per year contract with Al Nassr. That amount makes the Portuguese superstar the highest-paid player in world football.
However, it seems that Ronaldo’s time in the Saudi Pro League could be short. His partner Georgina Rodriguez allegedly wants to leave the country and return to the Spanish capital. This is despite Ronaldo recently posting a photo of himself and Rodriguez kissing on Instagram with the caption, “Cheers to Love.” The photo hinted that the couple is enjoying life in Saudi Arabia’s capital city, but that does not seem to be the case.
Spanish media says Ronaldo is already considering a return to Real Madrid. Reports claim Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has convinced Cristiano to take up an important role.
However, the reunion will not make Ronaldo an important part of the project. Sources close to Perez say he considers it a cycle that should be considered complete. This suggests that Ronaldo’s potential return to Madrid could happen in a reserve player capacity. Nevertheless, the news will bring relief to Georgina who is reportedly desperate to return to Madrid.

Eddie Howe shuts down Newcastle United move for Ronaldo
Eddie Howe has dismissed rumours that Newcastle United could make a summer move for superstars such as Cristiano Ronaldo. The Magpies are gearing up for an exciting few months, with the team on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League next season.
While big-name additions will continue to make headlines, Howe insists that the club will not spend large sums on the world’s most expensive players.Howe said: “That kind of speculation has been there from day one since the takeover, really. Naturally everyone has then assumed the biggest names in world football will be going to Newcastle. Now we’ve not recruited that way.”
He added that Newcastle could not afford to recruit the biggest names yet, and are focusing on lesser-known talents at the moment. He also mentioned the importance of bringing the right people as well as the right players.
“I think financially, we can’t recruit that way at the moment, but also we have to bring the right people and the right players into the group. We are never going to be in a position currently to afford those transfer fees and wages, so we need to go underneath and find them young and develop them into the players they can be,” said Howe.
