“They don’t care about the club”- Cristiano Ronaldo slams ‘The Glazers’, for lack of conviction towards Man United and its future
Cristiano Ronaldo talking about Glazers
The Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo has given an explosive yet controversial interview about the club and several teammates at Manchester United. The star spoke about the club’s progress and the American owners- Glazers, with quite an interesting take on the owners’ mindset regarding the club’s future.
Emphasizing the fact that the owners’ attitude towards the club is not up to the mark. The star said, “The Glazers, they don’t care about the club… Manchester is a marketing club(for them). The sport, they don’t really care, in my opinion”. The player spoke fiercely about the same owners that brought him back.
The Portuguese star has always been an outspoken guy with an agenda of his own to protect what he has and fight against the odds. Not only did the player criticize his own critics but the owners as well, on their lacking conviction to put the club in the position where it deserves to be now.
According to the Portuguese, the club only has been into the marketing side and leaving the club’s potential requirements which will eventually make the club grow in terms of winning titles. Making a mark again in the Premier League, which has been lost somewhere for the last few years, should be their prime focus.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s admiration for Manchester United
