Georgina and Ronaldo's son passed away during birth in April 2022
Cristiano Ronaldo’s wife Georgina Rodriguez recently opened up speaking about the loss of their son. The model gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl in April 2022, but the boy unfortunately passed away at the time of birth.
Speaking about the incident, Rodriguez stated: “Over 40 million people follow me, but no one knows how I really feel. This year, I had the best and the worst moment of my life in an instant.” The model, along with Ronaldo, took to Instagram after receiving the unfortunate news to share the following message: “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.”
Georgina and Cristiano later revealed that they had named their daughter Bella. This was the couple’s first experience of childbirth together. Ronaldo, however, had three kids already as he is a father to Cristiano Jr., Eva Maria and Mateo.
