Eden Hazard’s son was seen scoring a brilliant goal in a youth cup in Madrid. Leo Hazard plays in Real Madrid‘s youth setup and is currently competing for the Iscar Cup as he hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps.

The young Hazard scored a goal against Granada that his father would have been pleased with. From outside the box, he powered an incredible shot that soared past the goalkeeper.

As for Eden Hazard, he gears up for the final leg of the season with Real Madrid still having a shot at the treble. However, it seems unlikely that Hazard will play a pivotal role for the Los Blancos as he has spent most of the season on the bench.

Hazard joined Real Madrid in 2019 from Chelsea for a reported fee of £130 million. Great things were expected of him as his exploits in a Chelsea jersey were extraordinary. However, Hazard could not live up to his price tag as he was reduced to a bench player by manager Carlo Ancelotti.

It’s fair to say that Eden Hazard has had a disappointing tenure at Real Madrid. Joining from Chelsea in 2019, the Belgian is yet to make a sound impact for the club.

In 74 appearances, Hazard has only scored seven goals and provided 12 assists for the club. His most recent appearance for the club was in Real Madrid’s 6-0 win against Real Valladolid in La Liga where he also provided an assist.

The 32-year-old’s contract is set to run out at the end of the 2023-24 season. He is expected to remain at the club until then. Multiple reports have suggested that Hazard may follow in Cristiano Ronaldo‘s footsteps and move to the middle-east, possibly at Al Nassr, where the Portuguese currently plays.
