The World Cup golden glove winner, Emiliano Martinez has reportedly auctioned off the gloves he wore for the World Cup final on Friday. The amount the player received from the auction is roughly around €42,000 and was reportedly donated to children battling cancer.
The compatriot and teammate of Lionel Messi, Emi Martinez has reportedly said that the amount he received from the auction is donated to children battling cancer. In a recent interview, Martinez allegedly said “It’s much more important to help a child than to have my gloves stored in a box at home.”
The past few months have been incredible for Emi Martinez. Being the world cup hero for Argentina with audacious saves, he received the World Cup Golden Gloves. By Donating his gloves to charity, Emiliano Martinez has shown a lovely gesture towards other parts of society.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to replace one World Cup winning Goalkeeper for another
Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly looking at Emiliano Martinez as a long-term plan between the sticks. This is because veteran French shot-stopper Hugo Lloris approaches the final 12 months of his contract. Lloris is now 36 years of age and is being kept out of action at present by a knee injury.
Tottenham are eager to ensure that they have a suitable successor to their club captain Lloris lined up, with it possible that one World Cup winner will be replaced with another. According to the reports, TyC Sports claim that Spurs have a “specific interest” in Argentina international Martinez. And “may make an offer in the coming weeks”.
Martinez would be a Premier League-ready operator for Tottenham having already spent time on the books at Arsenal and Aston Villa. Emi Martinez is tied to terms in the West Midlands through 2027. But a big-money bid could be enough to free him from that agreement.
Martinez starred for Argentina as they emerged victorious at Qatar 2022. He has expressed a desire to compete for honors with Villa. But he is also said to be keen on testing himself at a Champions League stage. And Martinez reportedly would get the opportunities to compete for outings at an elite level in Europe. But that would possible if a move to the hotspur stadium were to be made.
