However, United’s lack of transfer business and reportedly concerned Cristiano Ronaldo about the club’s real ambitions and is now open to leaving Old Trafford in search of Champions League football. However, his club and national teammate, Bruno Fernandes has since provided some vital updates on Cristiano Ronaldo’s stance.

Bruno Fernandes breaks his silence over Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer rumours

Bruno Fernandes told the Portuguese outlet Record, “I spoke to him a few weeks ago – we’re both on vacation, no one bothers friends on vacation – I hope to meet him on the fourth to train there [at Manchester United ], I’m not expecting more than that.”

“There is nothing more than that, but each one takes care of their future. I don’t believe that the club is willing to lose a player of the value of Cristiano.”

Cristiano Ronaldo was linked with a move to Bavarian giants, Bayern Munich as their replacement for Robert Lewandowski. However, the club’s president denied these rumours as soon as they came out.

Cristiano Ronaldo has also been linked with a move to United’s rivals, Chelsea. Although the move seems highly unlikely. Cristiano Ronaldo assured the United fans that he will stay at Manchester United and help the club get back to glory, and it seems the Portuguese will stick to his word.
