Harry Kane scores yet again for Bayern Munich as the England captain bagged a first-half brace against German opposition, Heidenheim. This brings the striker’s Bundesliga goal tally to 17 in just 11 appearances, a record which no one has achieved.

Harry Kane’s first goal was a spectacular finish into the right side of the goal as the player received the ball with his back towards the goal, pushing the ball to the right, he quickly took a right-footed shot which put Bayern Munich one goal up. His second goal was a header, once again to the right of the goalkeeper after a corner was taken in the 44th minute of the game which was finished clinically by Kane. A brace just before half-time his two goals puts his goal tally for the season to 20 which means that the Bayern Munich striker has scored 20+ goals in his last 10 seasons as a professional football player.

A great achievement for the England international. Also, a great result for his club as they go top of the Bundesliga table with second place Bayer Leverkusen, currently one point behind having a game in hand. Bayern Munich, currently seeking their 12th consecutive Bundesliga title, will also wish to help their English talisman Harry Kane lift his first-ever club trophy.

The acquisition of Harry Kane has been one of the signings of the season with many people no longer discussing the price tag of the player. With his big scoring numbers getting larger with every game, Bayern will also be hoping that their big summer signing can help them lift Europe’s biggest prize, the UEFA Champions League.

Success in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA EURO 2024 would make a strong case for the 30-year-old.
