Manchester United stole three points from the match against Aston Villa on Sunday at the Old Trafford stadium. Erik Ten Hag and Co. showed their mettle in the match as they are chasing the top four spot in the Premier League table to qualify for the Champions League next season.

It’s been a tense yet entertaining match at Old Trafford as both teams look well up to the task to try and claim all three points. Yet Manchester United were the one who had the last laugh. Marcus Rashford and Casemiro had been active throughout the match while John McGinn and Ollie Watkins were also quite good. The deadlock finally broke when United hit on the counter-attack. And Bruno Fernandes scored from Rashford’s shot’s rebound in the 39th minute of the game.

The second half continued to be an exciting encounter as chances for either side arrived. But nothing found the target. Villa reportedly came close to equalising with roughly 10 minutes to go. However, Victor Lindelof cleared the effort off the line.

Fans are reportedly very happy and excited with Manchester United’s victory against Aston Villa. Man United are the first team to prevent Aston Villa from scoring ever since Unai Emery joined them. Today’s win also meant the Man-United’s top four finish to qualify for the UCL next season are still alive. Fans have shown their happiness through social media posts.
