WATCH: “This is so low”; “Disgusting”- Fans react as Manchester United stadium’s toilets get flooded with urine
Disgusted fans took to Twitter to display their disappointment
Manchester United‘s Old Trafford stadium’s toilets were recently found flooded with urine. The apparent malfunctioning of the infrastructure came due to clogged toilets and lack of maintenance. Interestingly, Cristiano Ronaldo had pointed out the lack of infrastructure in the club last year during his tenure at the club.
Ronaldo had pointed out how the club’s infrastructure hadn’t been changed and was still the same as before when he left back in 2009. He also pointed out how Real Madrid and Juventus had much better equipment and facilities when he played for the two clubs.
The news comes after Manchester United broke the record for most tickets sold in a single season as they sold over 2.3 million tickets over the course of this season. The record was previously held by the 2016/17 season.
Manchester United are having a great season so far. They won their first trophy in six years as they clinched the Carabao Cup last month. Furthermore, they are still battling in hope to lift the FA Cup, UEFA Europa League, and the Premier League where they currently stand third.
