Manchester City and Liverpool had an exciting draw on November 25th, with goals from Haaland and Alexander-Arnold. The teams are close in points- City with 29 and Liverpool with 28. After the match, a disagreement arose between City Manager Pep Guardiola and Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez.

It began when Nunez spoke to Pep, leading to a heated exchange of words. The situation escalated, as both of them went back and forth at each other before Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp restrained his Uruguayan striker. Nunez eventually walked away, leaving Pep with his German counterpart.

Haaland opened the scoring in the 26th minute after a poor pass from Alisson landed right to Nathan Ake. Ake brought the ball ahead, while dribbling past a few Liverpool players and played a ball to Haaland, who scored with ease, despite a touch by Alisson. With that goal, he became the fastest to 50 Premier League Goals, taking just 48 games to achieve the feat. TAA equalized in the 80th minute with a brilliant goal from the edge of the box. While making a run, Mohamed Salah spotted him and rolled the ball before Alexander-Arnold took one touch and slotted it past Ederson.

With this draw, City and Liverpool retain their spots as the top 2 teams in the Premier League Table. However, they both could drop down to 3rd and 4th if Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur manage to win their fixtures against Brentford and Aston Villa.
