Real Madrid fans react to ‘easy’ draw
Spanish giants Real Madrid will face Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. Chelsea is currently 10th in the Premier League after a disappointing season. Fans of Los Blancos were happy with the draw, having had much more challenging opponents in previous years.
Real has faced Manchester City or Liverpool in knockout games seven times since 2017-18, during a period when the two have dominated English football. They have also been put against PSG, Bayern Munich and some of the better Chelsea sides in the past seven years. Fans of the club will breathe a sigh of relief after the draw, but with the possibility of facing Bayern or City in the semi-finals, it will be a difficult road to success.
