Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech has had a verbal agreement with Saudi Club Al Nassr to join them this summer. Personal terms had also been agreed between both parties.
According to journalist and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the Moroccan international will leave Chelsea to sign for Al Nassr for the upcoming season. The contract is reportedly going to be until June 2026.
The reports state that all the parties have reached an agreement. They are waiting for the contract to be checked and then signed.
Ziyech joined the Blues from Ajax back in 2020. The deal was for €40 million. Although the young winger should spark of his true potential at the start of his time at Chelsea. But after some time, former manager Thomas Tuchel lost his faith in the player and was dropped from the starting 11. Graham Potter who had a brief stint as Chelsea’s manager following Tuchel’s departure, also didn’t put much faith in Moroccan International.
Last season Ziyech only featured in 24 games for his club and was unable to find the back of the net. But he did have three assists to his name. The lack of game time made Ziyech look for new adventures outside Chelsea. He was almost on his way to join Paris Saint Germain for a loan spell in the January Transfer window. But at the final moments of the transfer window, the deal broke down due to an administrative fault at Chelsea’s end.

Fans slam Chelsea as Ziyech is set to leave the club to join Al Nassr
Hakim Ziyech is set to be on his way out of Chelsea after a turbulent three seasons at the club. The player has reached a verbal agreement with the Saudi side Al Nassr to join them this summer, according to the reports. Although he isn’t the first player of the club who is leaving to join the Saudi League this summer. French midfielder N’golo Kante is also set to leave the club. He is reportedly joining Al Ittihad.
Fans are reportedly not very happy with so many top players leaving the club ahead of the next season. Many fans even took to social media to open up about the current scenario. One fan wrote, “He was supposed to go to PSG now his European career is over. Chelsea FC, where talent goes to die.” Another fan wrote, “Saudi putting the Avengers together.” And a third fan wrote, “Todd Boehly’s visit to Saudi Arabia worked tf, he obviously got a hand in all these transfers.”
