Fans welcome Diego Costa to the Premier League after his infamous red card incident

Diego Costa after receiving the red card against Brighton.
The former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid player Diego Costa has yet again been on the news for the wrong reasons after returning to the Premier League. The Spanish star was signed by Wolves at the end of September to bolster their attack and Costa was given his first Premier League start against Brighton after returning to England after 3 years.
Costa’s debut match was not at the start he was expecting as he saw a red card in the final seconds of the match for headbutting Brentford defender Ben Mee. The fans have taken to their social media accounts welcoming Diego Costa to the league and also trolled the player by congratulating him on putting on the dark side he is best known for.
The match was well poised at 1-1 which few seconds left as Diego Costa was sent off after VAR inspected the incident. He apologized to his teammates for his behavior and will also face a three-match ban and won’t play again until the World Cup. It was a frustrating evening for the striker as he couldn’t find the back of the net and was not allowed any space by the Brighton defenders who marked him ever so well.
Is Diego Costa the most indisciplined centre-forward in the history of football?

It is nothing new for Diego Costa as well as the fans to see their starman get sent off. He is best known for his free-scoring ability but also has a very hot head. He has accumulated 139 yellow cards and 11 red cards in his entire career and is one of the most indisciplined attackers to ever play the game.
Wolves boss Steve Davis has a huge task in his hand to find out how to work with such a hot-headed striker with huge attacking ability as well. Costa has been away from the football field for a long time since leaving Atletico Mineiro and needs to put on his scoring boots and make himself settled in his new club as soon as possible.
