Former Manchester United star Paul Pogba’s ‘Pogmentary’ becomes worst TV show in IMDB history; with 1/10 ratings
Paul Pogba
‘The Pogmentary’ which debuted on Amazon Prime last week, delves into the former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba’s life and career. However, the documentary received a huge backlash from both fans and critics, with the show completely tanking on IMDB. It currently has a 1 out of 10 ratings, making it the lowest-rated show on the online database website.
The second-lowest rated show, according to Twitter user OddsOnFP, is the Turkish musical series ‘Iste Bu Benim Masalim,’ which has a rating of 1.2 out of 10. ‘The Pogmentary,’ which consists of five episodes, takes fans behind the scenes of his life and career.
Paul Pogba’s comments on contract dispute did board down well with the Manchester United supporters
Manchester United fans were outraged after a clip from the documentary showed Pogba and his late agent Mino Raiola discussing a contract offer from the club last summer, believed to be worth £300,000. Pogba was told by Raiola, “Paul, you are in an extremely unique situation. You’ve got no idea. You’ve got no idea.”
“Did Manchester (United) make a second offer?” the player responded. “Yes,” Raiola replied to his client. “They are desperate for you to stay. The offer, in my opinion, does not reflect this. I will make them understand that if they truly want you to stay and want to build a project around you, this time they must act differently and put the money on the table.”
“They’re bluffing,” Pogba responds. “How can you tell a player you absolutely want him and then offer him nothing? Never seen anything like it.”
Paul Pogba wasn’t done talking about Manchester United just yet in his documentary
In another scene, Pogba could be seen explaining his decision to leave the Red Devils to the whole football world, “My thought process is to show Manchester (United) that they made a mistake in waiting to give me a contract. And to show other clubs that Manchester had made a mistake in not offering me a contract.”
The French international, who spent six seasons at Old Trafford in his second spell, will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June. The 29-year-old didn’t set many records at Old Trafford, appearing in 233 games, scoring 39 goals, and assisting on 51 others.
