Former Portugal manager’s wife denies all Cristiano Ronaldo-Georgina Rodriguez split rumors, calls them a ‘controversy against them’
Zulmira Ferreira has spoken out for the couple, shutting down rumours of their split.
Jesualdo Ferreira’s wife, Zulmira has defended Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez‘s relationship. The Portuguese footballer is alleged to have been unhappy with his partner’s behaviour following their move to Saudi Arabia. However, Zulmira believes this to be a conspiracy, and brushes off rumours regarding their possible split.
Speaking at the Red Carpet, the manager’s wife began, “In a relationship, who doesn’t argue? What couple doesn’t have a little argument? It was a month ago, now you remember?” She continued, “This is a conspiracy against them. Poor thing, she is also in a bit of a difficult position. And knowing how the world of football is, she is in a really difficult situation.”
Zulmira added, “They had a very big change in their lives at all levels, even the fact that they went to Saudi Arabia changed everything, that’s all.” She also expressed her concern for Ronaldo’s form on-field, stating, “Things are not going well for Ronaldo professionally. He likes to be the best, he fights and works to be the best. And he sees that time is running out for him.”
Georgina has come out and dismissed the rumours surrounding her and Ronaldo. The Spanish influencer was quoted saying, “Envy invents rumors, and gossip spreads them.” The couple have been together since 2016, and it seems that there will not be any split between the two of them for now.

Al-Nassr return to winning ways after thrashing of Al-Raed
Al-Nassr have finally secured a victory after having failed to win in any of their last three matches. The Faris Najd’s winless streak saw them drop from the top of the table, and get knocked out of the King Cup of Champions’ Semi-Finals. Their win against Al-Raed will give them hope of winning the title, however low their chances may be.
The Saudi side ran out 4-0 winners in a comfortable home win. Cristiano Ronaldo managed to end his goal drought and scored after just four minutes of play. The Portuguese headed in a Sultan Al-Ghannam cross from inside the six-yard box. Al-Nassr then scored in the 55th minute, before two stoppage-time goals secured their win.
Ronaldo has finally scored after four matches without finding the back of the net. The Saudi outfit have also scored after three matches goal-less. Al-Nassr remain second in the league, three points behind Al-Ittihad. However, the leaders have a game in hand over their nearest competitors.
