France’s young sensation Christopher Nkunku is out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup after suffering a knee injury while training at the national camp

Christopher Nkunku sustained injury in the training

Right ahead of the FIFA World Cup, the RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku sustained a knee injury on the training ground for France, while playing with his teammates and received an untimed tackle. The player is most likely expected to miss the big event, at the perfect age to perform at the World Cup.

Unfortunately, the French national is not the only player that has sustained injury. Many young players for whom this World Cup would have played a monumental role in their careers have somehow sustained injuries and are expected to miss the tournament.

The badly timed tackle on Nkunku was from his teammate and Real Madrid’s young midfielder Eduardo Camavinga who has un-intentionally made his own team’s key player, walk off the pitch in pain and miss the tournament. People blaming the young lad for his tackle is baseless and unfair.
