In a gathering of the biggest names from the world at the Riyadh Super Arena, Cristiano Ronaldo was captured with boxing promoter Frank Warren. The duo joked on camera as Warren sarcastically hinted towards his next move to Premier League leaders, Arsenal.
Anthony Joshua beat Otto Wallin in a dominating five-round victory. Ronaldo is known for his love of combat sports, as he is often seen with fighting stars. He was also seen sitting beside Connor McGregor and comparing their watches in humor. Ronaldo had earlier spent time with Francis Ngannou before his match against Tyson Fury.
However, a transfer away from Saudi Arabia can only partially be ruled out for Ronaldo. This is due to the constant news around his future and a clause in his contract allowing him to leave for Newcastle United due to the same owners.
In Frank Warren’s comments, Ronaldo laughed and took in the joke well, further expressing his calm nature. At 38, Ronaldo is still the leading player on his team as he was invited yet again to a Saudi promotion event.
Further, his Al Nassr manager Luis Castro believes building a team around him can maximize his true strength. It will be something to watch as his potential move to the Premier League could be on the verge of being true again.
This footballer has now become 40 times richer than Cristiano Ronaldo
In a surprising twist, ex-French footballer Mathieu Flamini has outpaced Cristiano Ronaldo’s net worth by 40 times. Ronaldo’s £500 million is eclipsed by Flamini, famed for AC Milan, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, and Getafe, now triumphant as the CEO of “GF,” valued at an impressive £21 billion.
Flamini started at AC Milan, co-founding “GF Biochemicals” with partner Pasquale Granata, aiming to impact the energy sector. The ex-midfielder, retiring in 2019 at 39, invested millions to produce levulinic acid, a wood and corn waste-based oil substitute.
In 2015, “GF Biochemicals” became the first to mass-produce an eco-friendly acid, showcasing Flamini’s blend of football skills and business success. As CEO of a £21 billion company, Flamini’s financial achievement surpasses Cristiano Ronaldo’s wealth.
