The Barcelona star Gerard Pique is not having an ideal life considering the past few months, be it the missing matches from Xavi’s playing eleven or the player’s complex separation from his ex-partner Shakira, that has been going down the line. It could a sigh of relief for the player that he could get a chance in the World Cup.
Reportedly, Luis Enrique the Spanish National coach and former FC Barcelona coach has selected the defender on his pre-list among 55 other players to get selected from, the official squad for the approaching FIFA World Cup 2022, in Qatar. The player is not getting the ideal amount of playing minutes but it’s a matter of joy for the player.
The Barcelona defender could finally have his chance of being in his supposedly last World Cup considering the form and age of the Spaniard. PSG’s Sergio Ramos has also been named on the list. Though the official confirmation for the playing eleven is yet to be announced likely be on 11th November.
