In a recent interview with El País, Gerard Pique had to face a few questions about the Pique-Shakira saga. The questions were reportedly about the relationship he has with Shakira and everything that has happened all these months including the 4 songs that the Pop star Shakira released.

After his break with Shakira and the beginning of his romance with Clara Chía, Gerard Piqué has not escaped any single criticism. He has been the focus of repudiation for “changing partners too quickly“. Pique was even for “his attitude” before the press and before Shakira. Earlier it was seen that he did not care or made fun of the situation. But the truth is that Pique is already tired of so much criticism. He reportedly decided to face all those “haters” who criticized him thanks to Shakira.

In response to the questions asked at the interview with El País, Pique said, “I’m not going to give an opinion, I don’t feel like it. Everyone has the responsibility to try to do what’s best for their children. I’m not going to spend money on cleaning up my image.

Pique also added that the real problem was how people perceive the case, and how the press from all around the world showed it. He said he keeps on doing what he wants and wants to be true to himself.

Lastly, Pique concluded by saying, “The people I care about and the people I love are the ones who know me. The rest, I don’t care.” However, he has not been spared criticism for that. After this interview, many people are reportedly saying that Pique does not care about his children when walking with Clara or making fun of Shakira publicly.

FC Barcelona and Spanish football legend Gerard Pique broke his silence on his sudden retirement from football. He said that does not regret making this decision. Pique claimed that he did not feel important as a player in his later days. This made him feel bad.

The former Spanish center-back Gerard Pique’s retirement from football came just before the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. He retired from the Spanish National Team after the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The 36-year-old Pique made his final Barcelona appearance in their 2-0 win against Almeira on November 6, 2022.

Speaking about his sudden decision to retire, in an interview, Pique said, “I finished for several reasons. I didn’t feel as important as I had felt at other times, which didn’t make me feel good. But I won’t go into whether I felt cheated by anyone. I think I earned to choose my end. It happened and I’m happy with that.”
