‘The better defender got her’ – Photos of Sergio Ramos and Shakira from Latin Grammys INSPIRE Pique-related banter from fans on social media

Recently, Colombian singer and songwriter, Shakira made an appearance at the Latin Grammy Awards. The event, which happened in Seville, Spain was attended by Shakira and her two children. At the event, fans spotted an interesting link-up, as Sergio Ramos posed for a picture with Barcelona star Gerard Pique’s ex-girlfriend. Shakira also sported multiple stunning outfits at the ceremony, from a Dolce & Gabbana dress to a majestic catsuit.

Gerard Pique and Shakira marked an era in football where the duo was regarded as the best-power couple in the sport. They both met in 2010 and spent 11 years together, before splitting in June 2022. Moreover, their quirky Instagram posts and social media presence instantly made them a fan favorite. However, things went sour when the duo, who are parents to two kids, Milan and Sasha, announced that they were splitting.

At the Latin Grammys, Shakira posed for a picture with Sergio Ramos, where the duo were all smiles. Ramos also has his hand over Shakira’s shoulder. It is also interesting to note that Shakira won 3 Grammys at the ceremony.

One for Song of the Year and Pop Song of the Year for ‘Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53’. The third was for Best Urban Performance for ‘TQG’. Surprisingly, it was Gerard Pique’s former International teammate, Sergio Ramos, who handed Shakira two of her three Grammys.

The couple allegedly split after 11 years, as media rumors reported the reason was ‘infidelity’. In her award-winning speech, she thanked the Spanish fans for their support in ‘difficult moments’ in an apparent dig at her ex-partner.
